The minor in Iran and Persian studies covers an area of immense historical, 文化, 经济, demographic and geopolitical significance. The minor is designed to emphasize the interconnected and comparative aspects of history, 文化, 社会, 经济, 宗教, 性别关系, 媒体, 法律, 政治经济, international relations, 都市生活, migration and diaspora, language and literatures across regional and national boundaries. It is an interdisciplinary minor open to undergraduates in all four colleges.
